Happy campers!

Had a fab 6 nights away in the lochnegar motorhome. We travelled 804miles and was only at a campsite 3 nights and 3 nights off grid. Leisure battery kept us going and the gas. We travelled to Skye for 3 nights at campsites then to Fort William, Glencoe and Oban. We loved Glencoe so much we stayed at the Glencoe Mountain Resort for 3 nights. Mieke was fabulous from the time of booking, to collecting to drop off. Will definitely book again and highly recommend. Motorhome had everything we needed and more. Thanks again.

We had a fantastic experience with Grampian Campervan Hire from start to finish. We had a few logistical issues around insurance before the trip, and Mieke was incredibly helpful in guiding us through everything. She went out of her way to make sure we could still go ahead with the journey, which we really appreciated. The campsite is very easy to find on Google Maps and is just about 15 minutes away from Huntly. When we arrived, Mieke was already there waiting for us, so there was no delay at all. As first-time campers, we found her explanation of everything very clear and reassuring. She took the time to walk us through all the essentials and shared her number, encouraging us to call anytime if we needed help. The return process was just as smooth, quick, straightforward, and completely hassle-free. Overall, it was a 10 on 10 experience. A lovely couple to deal with, and a special thanks again to Mieke for being so supportive and accommodating. We will definitely be going back and recommending them to our friends.

Incredible service! Mieke & Jan were extremely hospitable and helpful - they’ve thought of everything so you don’t have to! Including clever ways of packing all the essentials you’ll need for the trip within the van. The vans are very modern and well equipped, very well maintained and completely clean when we picked it up - looked like it had just been picked up from a showroom! Mieke and Jan also helped with pickups and lifts back to the station to make our journey much easier! Would fully recommend to anyone thinking of touring round Scotland!

Mieke was incredibly warm and welcoming, seeking to accommodate us at every step and very responsive throughout the week we spent in two of her campers. We texted a couple of times with questiona and she called back straightaway to help. Campers were also in tip-top condition and very well-stocked with everything we could need. Such a lovely time!

Exceptional experience We were a group of 5 friends renting two vans (Ben Rinnes and Ben Lui) for a NC500 trip and had a phenomenal rental experience with Grampian Campervans. I could not recommend more. First, the vans are in perfect condition. It is clear how committed Mieke and Jan are to accommodating all types of trips and they have a range of options that they are regularly updating in response to demand. Second, Mieke offers a top class customer experience from start to finish and responded to every one of our queries within the hour. This makes the difference vs other rental companies where you may get a tolerable product but with no access to advice/ help when it’s really needed. Thank you so much for an incredible time!

Very new campervan stocked with everything you need and plenty extras that other places charge for such as outdoor table and chairs and awnings. Choose to hire from here because the pick up and drop off times were much better than anyone else anywhere near Aberdeen. Website has video guides on how to work everything in the van which is a great touch. It is run by a lovely couple who seem to genuinely care you have a good holiday.

Would highly recommend We were very pleased with our experience hiring a campervan from Mieke and Jan. They were easy to communicate with prior to the hire; Mieke was very friendly and helpful explaining how everything worked, and the van itself was immaculate, so well equipped with nice extra touches. On return, no issues, just a warm welcome back and concern that we'd had s good time. Their premises are spotless and you get the impression this is a most professional outfit we would be glad to use again and recommend to friends.

We hired Tap O’Noth for our first campervan experience. Mieke couldn’t have been more helpful from our first visit, to booking and then on the day of picking up the campervan she ran through everything fully before we left and advised us about the QR code to access further support. No further support was required! We had a fab time and everything we could have wanted in the motorhome had been considered and provided from hand soap to tea towels to bin liners to hand held hoover and even fleecy blankets. Great company with great service and would 100% recommend if you are looking to hire a campervan/motorhome!

From the booking enquiry on the website communication was very fast and effective! Clear instructions were given for date of collection and we were delighted to be made so welcome by Mieke! She explained the operating of the camper in great detail with so many handy hints and tips in the book ( the bible!) in your van! The website is also very good with video tutorials! We can't thank you enough Mieke! The can very clean and modern, we had hoped for lots of sunshine for our trip but in true scottish style we had every season and so spent lots of time in the van when it was snowing/raining/hailing!! It was lovely and warm and all our things dried off quickly so we could get back out to explore again! Drop off process was very smooth and a lovely welcome back from Mieke, we were sad it was all over but so happy looking back on such a fun trip!!!

Loved it! My wife and I rented 'Tap O Noth' for 6 nights and loved it! We travelled down to Pebbles, then onto Leeds via Alnwick, Redcar, Whitby and Scarborough, before heading back north via Chester-le-Street. Most of our camping was done off-grid, which the van handled very well. Despite some cool nights, we were kept warm and comfortable. The van had a lot of space inside and due to the interior layout, it actually felt larger inside than some campervans designed with a larger birth rating. Mieke was very friendly and helpful. She gave us a thorough induction and was very quick to respond to messages with any questions we had.

We just purchased a van from Mieke and Jan from start to finish the whole process was easy and uncomplicated. The van was exactly as described and in excellent condition well maintained inside and out. The handover was easy and all the operating details were listed too. We had a great experience hiring Dunnydeer. It was our first time driving and hiring a Campervan but Mieke made it so easy . The intro to the van was well explained and full of helpful tips . The van itself was really well stocked with lots of thoughtful touches. The bed was super comfy and we slept like babies even during the storms lol. The overall experience was simply fabulous and if you are thinking of hiring a Campervan then this is the place for you. Even after we had finished our hire Mieke got in touch a few days later to see if the glasses case she found was ours and then posted it back to us at her own expense. May not be a big deal to some people but sometimes it the small touches that show real class and Mieke has that. Thanks again and hope to be back !

We have just bought a Motorhome off Grampian CVH and we feel so lucky to have a vehicle that has been maintained and cared for by Meike. Immaculate inside and out, the hand over was great, we have the details of every service history and manuals for the gadgets etc. the campsite itself looks fantastic-the shower block and toilets are sparklingly clean. Meike is friendly, informative and fun. Whether you’re looking to buy an ex rental, rent a camper or stay at the campsite you cannot choose better. The whole outfit is impressive. We couldn’t be happier. It was worth the 8 hour return journey to the Wirral. The scenery is also stunning.

What a lovely company. They look after you from day one! No question too small or silly. This was my first time in a “van” and I loved it so much had a second equally enjoyable trip. Just myself and two happy dogs. The campers were immaculate and thoughtful little extras were lovely . Wonderful to have the dogs with no quibble from Mieke. Can’t fault the service and care in any way :)

Fantastic experience with Grampian Fantastic experience with Grampian. The whole process was great from booking to reluctantly having to give Ben Lomond back. Meike is an excellent host, complete attention to detail and the vans are immaculate and came with everything needed. We were only able to do 3 days this time but will try a longer break next. We had a great experience hiring the Cairngorms campervan. Mieke gave us a very informative tour of the campervan before we got the keys. Don’t hesitate to book with Grampian Campervan hire! We hired a dog friendly camper van from Mieke in the autumn and the experience was so good we ended up buying one from her too! We absolutely loved dealing with Mieke, she was dedicated and knowledgeable about all aspects of her vans and keeps them in fantastic condition. Father and sons trip, Mount Keen Had an amazing few days in the Mount Keen campervan with my two boys. When we arrived, I was genuinely impressed—every van on-site looked like it had just come straight from the showroom. Ours looked brand new! Mieke and Jan were fantastic to deal with, super friendly, and made the whole booking process effortless, even though it was very last-minute. The van itself was spot-on for what we needed, and we had zero issues the whole trip. A brilliant experience overall—we’ll definitely be booking with them again. Huge thanks to Mieke and Jan!
